Writing my own e-book

Never let it be said that I don’t go the extra mile for my clients…

I may have mentioned before, I’m somewhere between a Luddite and an I-Addict.  I love new technology once I’ve got the hang of it, but am hugely suspicious until that happens.

I have a Kindle (birthday present from techie-geekie husband) which I am really enjoying, and it occurred to me that as I often recommend that authors try their hand at an e-book, it would be very useful to know the process myself.

The book will be a simple how-to guide.  I will set myself a deadline of getting it into the Kindle shop by 1st November 2011. Watch this space for further updates.

My first dilemma is the title, although I know I could concentrate on writing it first, I’ve got completely side-tracked.  Do you remember those teenage years of forming a band, and spending 90% of the time discussing the band name and the album cover, and 10% actually holding instruments…

Have you written and published an e-book?  How did you find the process?  And how long did it take you to decide on a title?
